Clinical Efficacy Of Kidney Deficiency Type Left Varicocele Of Youguiwan Treated

Objective:More and more young men have the disease named varicocele, which is a serious disease affecting the patient’s physical and mental health. It has an impact on people’s health and family harmony. A survey found that:the men less than11years are away from this disease; the prevalence of the age from11to15is more than7%,; the prevalence of the age from16to20is about9%. With the development of medicine and physicians’experience, Western medicine experts and Chinese medicine experts pay more and more attention on the disease. More and more views on varicocele are taken up,which shows a contending potential. The disease is still in Western surgical treatment. But with the development of Chinese medicine, TCM takes an increasingly important position in the treatment of varicocele.Purpose:Observe and evaluate the curative effect and safety of new yougui pill for patients with left varicocele of deficiency of kidney-yang.Method:This study of61patients with left varicocele of deficiency of kidney-yang from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine were treated from May2012to November2013. All61patients who have gone through a rigorous assessment and communication meet the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of this test.61patients will be randomized into two groups:31cases in treatment group and30cases in control group. The cases in treatment group took new yougui pill and the cases in control group took Aescuven fort. Treatment were assessed after three months, including:The clinical symptoms observed indicators, TCM observed indicators, Clinical Ultrasound observed indicators and survey of adverse reactions. Result:Efficacy results-assessment of clinical symptoms:Treatment group were31cases;15cases were cured;9cases were effective;7cases were ineffective. Control group were30cases;11cases were cured;7cases were effective;12cases were ineffective. But this group was not statistically significant contrast. Efficacy results-ultrasound assessment:Treatment group were31cases;15cases were cured;10cases were effective;6cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was80.65%. Control group were30cases;8cases were cured;9cases were effective;13cases were ineffective. The total effective rate was56.67%. Assessment of adverse reactions:Treatment group were31cases; No moderate and severe cases of adverse reactions, no dizziness,1case of mild nausea; The total adverse reactions rate was3.23%. Control group were30cases; No moderate and severe cases of adverse reactions,2cases of mild dizziness,1case of mild nausea,2cases of mild stomach pain; The total adverse reactions rate was16.67%. So both new yougui pill and Aescuven fort can improve clinical symptoms of patients with varicocele of deficiency of kidney-yang, but both have no significant differences in terms of symptom improvement; Both new yougui pill and Aescuven fort can reduce vascular caliber of patients with left varicocele of deficiency of kidney-yang, but the effect of new yougui pill is better than Aescuven fort. New yougui pill has lower incidence of adverse reactions than Aescuven fort.Conclusion:New yougui pill can cure the left varicocele of deficiency of kidney-yang safely and effectively. This method of using Chinese medicine in the treatment of varicocele is worth promoting.
