Background:This disease which western medicine known as the "frozen shoulder", Chinese medicine called "leakage shoulder wind","frozen shoulder" is caused by the ligament, joint capsule, synovial tissue, muscle tissue and tendons around the patients’shoulder get a chronic aseptic inflammation. The inflammation is caused by a variety of reasons such as shoulder joint capsule and the surrounding soft tissue is damaged or degeneration. It main show as shoulder joint and the soft tissue around it feel pain and movement restricted. Radiographic examination shows no obvious except bone mass reduced. It is a common orthopaedic clinical disease. The electro-heating Bian-stone as a new treatment of frozen shoulder, have its own advantages and characteristics. Electro-heating Bian-stone(patent number:ZL00266752.5) is added an electric heating device, and the application of microcomputer feedback control temperature, makes the electro-heating Bian-stone can achieve the function of constant temperature and quantitative temperature adjustment. The emergence of this technology makes the temperature of iron therapy’s clinical application is more convenient and more easily accepted by patients.Objective:This topic compares and analyses the observed indicators of patients’between before and after treatment, researches Electro-heating Bian-stone therapy treatment wind cold dampness frozen shoulder’s short-term curative effect, scores clinical curative effect of patients before and after treatment. To evaluate the short-term clinical efficacy and safety, to discuss and summarize the characteristics of this treatment, to complete the efficacy and safety evaluation, laying the groundwork for the technology of clinical promotion.Methods:The materials of research is a total of35patients who have the wind cold dampness type of frozen shoulder and come to Second Department of bone and joint Wangjing Hospital of China Academy of Traditional during2013.06to2014.02.According to the solution use electro-heating Bian-stone to treat. Using the UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) shoulder joint score sheet and visual analogue scale to score and compare. Choose i7type thermal meter (FLIR) to measure and compare the skin temperature. Assess its security. Summary of the clinical data and using spss18.0software for data statistics and analysis. Measurement data using paired sample t test, normal distribution of data to X±s said that the non-normal distribution of data, its natural logarithm normalized data analysis before the next step. P values less than0.05is statistically significant.Result: (1) UCLA score before treatment19.78±4.631(14to25) points after the completion of a course of UCLA score29.89±3.408(23to34) points, including four cases of excellent, good in25cases,5cases is acceptable, good rate of85.29%; completed a course of three months after the follow-up UCLA score31.78±3.383(26to34), of which5cases of excellent, good in26cases,3cases is acceptable, good rate of91.18%.Comparison the completion of the treatment with before the treatment UCLA shoulder score, through paired t test there was a significant difference (P all<0.01) and UCLA shoulder score is10.11points higher. Proved that by the warm iron after a course of therapy efficacy can achieve satisfactory results.Comparison after the completion of the treatment3month with before the treatment UCLA shoulder score, through paired t test there was a significant difference (P all<0.01) and UCLA shoulder score is12.00points higher. Proved that by the warm iron short-term efficacy can achieve satisfactory results.Comparison after the completion of the treatment3month with the completion of the treatment UCLA shoulder score, through paired t test there was a difference (P<0.05) in pain, muscle and total scores, satisfaction unchanged, Shoulder function, flexion function were not statistically significant (P>0.05),and UCLA shoulder score is1.89points higher. Proved that by the warm iron short-term efficacy can achieve satisfactory results.Comparison after the completion of the treatment3month with the completion of the treatment VAS shoulder score, through paired t test there was a significant difference (P all <0.01) and VAS shoulder score is3.00points higher.
