China Enterprise Cloud Chinese Borderland History And Geography Research Summary

Hua Qiyun is a history bibliographer in the early period of the Republic of China, and before1938, his main direction of research is the histroy in frontier. Though Hua Qiyun had made a lot of achievements in his area, there still have no studies on his monographs in academic world.This paper takes Hua Qiyun’s academic achievement and contribution for the study, including the Historical Thought, Historical Achievement and Historical method. It has five chapters, three major elements, a conclusion and a Introduction.Introduction, this paper narrate briefly the origin of this study, and the biography, the academic achievements of Hua Qiyun.The first chapter,"Hua Qiyun’historical thought" introduces the historical thought of Hua Qiyun’s frontier history, including two sections. Section I briefly describes Hua Qiyun’s ideas about the conception of history. Section Ⅱ describes the purpose of Hua Qiyun’s writing.The second chapter,"Hua Qiyun’historical method" introduces the historical method of Hua Qiyun’s frontier history, including one section. This section describes three major methods of history study:prehistoric history research method, comparative research method and mathematical statistics method.The third chapter,"Hua Qiyun’historical achievement" mainly describes Hua Qiyun’s seven books of historical achievements, including six sections. And at the end of this chapter, there is a criticism for Hua Qiyun’s article of＜The development of Sino-Japanese cooperation＞, criticizing Hua Qiyun’s traitor behavior to China against the Japanese invasion and his anti-Communist ideology.Conclusions, this part gives a summary and evaluation about Hua Qiyun’s research. Through these analysises and comparisons, we ensure Hua Qiyun’s important position before1938in academic and criticize his political behavior after1940as a traitor.
