There is deep philosophy source about Chinese painting idea of space, which is philosophy expression about idea of emptiness and solidity, yin yang doctrine and idea of that everything visible is empty posed by Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. This paper try to analyze the space idea posed by BaDaShanRen, pseudonym of Zhu Da, the famous painter of Ming dynasty. According to his all life experience, painting and handwriting signature, seals he used and painting and handwriting style, the writer divide his space idea into inheriting period, developing period and ageing period. The main part of this paper take the master piece during the period of grown-up as example, analyzing from the angle of Taoism’s yin yang doctrine, Buddhism’s idea of everything is empty and literary man painting sequences of idea. He poses forward the conception of space based on chasing for literary man painting’s image of drawing and using ink in order to make space become independent beauty judging object. In this way, he constructs drawing framework with form beauty, to push beauty judgment about space to a new height, and brings deep and far effect on the latter.
