As part of the city folklore, Entertainment activities are closely linked with thedevelopment of the city. Because of its special geographical and politicalenvironment,City retained many of the agricultural civilization and formed thespecial urban civilization fashion. To research the entertainment activities from theperspective of urban Revolution plays an important role for inducting thecharacteristics of song performing activities and also reveals the significance ofentertainment activities on urbanization.Chinese traditional society focus on the city development. Ning Xin think city asthe carrier of society, should consist of at least three space concepts: the first is thegeographical space; second is social and political space; third is the spiritual space.This thesis is mainly divided into five parts:The first chapter demonstrated that City development provides a broad spacefor the entertainment industry. The most prominent changes in the Song Dynasty cityis square city system breaks and car square system establishment. The city hasbecome an organic whole and city entertainment has gradually become an integralpart of the city. Furthermore, the lifting of the curfew makes city night life possible,which greatly expanded the spatial dimensions of city life, objectively stimulate theneed and development of city industry. Third, city traffic developments play roles ofcollecting goods, accumulating population. The river and city streets as linear spaceof flows, and punctate distribution of fixed casino, constitute the city entertainmentspace structure of entertainment industry.The second chapter mainly expounds the relationship between structuralchanges of city and city performing arts. Different groups have differentrequirements for entertainment. In court, members of the imperial "have fun withthe citizens" or directly involved in the public arts activities, or employ folk artists tomeet their own needs. For official, public interest can penetrate into the stratum oftheir enjoy. A lot of people in the city, including merchants, soldiers, and study or testin the capital of the scholars, largely constitute a major group of entertainment city.Entertainment demand of various people in the city, has spawned thedevelopment of Kabuki actors.The third chapter mainly focus on performing city management of arts activities.Mainly discuss the changes of city management system, coordination of theperforming organization, and official external force.The third chapter mainly discuss the relevance of city folk and performing artsactivities. City life folk custom, language, folk festival folk, has greatly enriched thecontent and form of performing arts. At the same time, performing arts activities alsopromote the development and variation of city folk.The last part is the conclusion of this thesis, as a comprehensive review andsummary of the research, and puts forward some personal research experience andfuture research prospects.In such a background of the song dynasty city changes, we investigate theform,content,communication process,service object,the producer of show activity.In general,not to research a specific performance form, but to under the backgroundof the city changes development,masters the development of the performanceactivities,and sums up the characteristics of the song dynasty show activity in thecity and the social function in the process of city development.
