Blaise Pascal (1623-1642), as one of the most outstanding talents of France,played an important role in the field of French history. He achieved in every field thathe drabbed: in the field of philosophy, he is considered as early modern irrationalismleader and existentialism pioneer; in the field of mathematics, he was recognized asone of the founders of probability theory, and invented the worlds first " computer ";in the field of physics, he proposed fluid mechanics "Pascal equation", latergenerations use his name as pressure units " Pascal "(Pa); in the field of literature,his Provincials is considered as one of the earliest standard French writing prose,which is a milepost of French literary. Detailed analysing for such a multi-facetedgenius is the meaning of this article.The article firstly begins with his philosophy thought, using "contradiction"and "paradox" as key words to parse his philosophy of conflict, so that to elucidatethe contradictions of human is the core of Pascals philosophical thought.Then followed is the analysis of the religious thoughts of the relationshipbetween God and man in Pascals thought: God also exist the contradiction andparadox, whereby a persons paradox and the paradox of God determine thenecessity of faith in God. And in his thought, the belief is act as a determined choiceof human, which became the key to the existence of human.The third part analyzes Pascal in scientific thought, which comprises hisview on experiment, on the innovation of the methods of science and hiscontribution to achieving science into practice.Finally there is a conclusion: the reflection of human, as the core of Pascalsthought, throughout his ideas in various fields. His main idea is to concern to theexistence and future of human. Thought there had not been a perfect conclusionduring his lifetime, but his thought becomes a previous heritage for us.
