Research On The Relationship Between Creativity And Moral Personality Negative

Researchs on creativity always take creativity for a good thing and ignore it’s dark side. In fact, many creative efforts went to the wrong way eventually. Creativity is a goal-directed action.It takes shape in accomplishing a purpose intentionally. When the goal is doing something harmful to people or the community, the malevolent creativity emerges. Besides the process, the product of creativity is a very important standard to evaluate the quality of creativity. Researchs on malevolent creativity is for causing people’s attention to the harmful use of creativity. Such attention is essential. Researchs on the mechanism and influence factors of malevolent creativity will promote the procedure of preventing it. Creativity is not in the vacuum but happens in real life. It is related to the subjective evaluation of creative person and product. The valuators will give evaluations related to moral standard such as "admirable" or "worthy of emulation". If a person’s moral values twists, his creativity will probably turns into malevolent creativity. The researcher made up a malevolent creativity test and a general creativity test in this study. This study wants to confirm the relationship between moral and creativity by mearsuring the subjects’malevolent creativity, general creativity and moral personality.In Study one the participants were given measures of general creativity and malevolent creativity. The valid data were132exclude3void data. The results reinforce the significant positive link between general and malevolent creativity. The link is weaker when positive creativity is higher. In Study two the participants were given measures of general and malevolent creativity, implicit moral test and self-reported integrity. The valid data were117exclude9void data. The results reinforce the significant negative link between self-reported moral personality and malevolent creativity, and the significant positive link between implicit moral personality and general creativity. The implications of these findings prove that moral really affect the direction of creativity. Lower moral lead to higher malevolent creativity.It has been a very shot time since malevolent creativity was put forward. If future studies can determine the inhibition effect of moral on malevolent creativity, then we will be able to put this in practice. Future education will attach importance to moral education. In addition to IAT, when it comes to measuring moral quality, the real ethical behavior measuring should be more suitable. Dishonesty measurement tasks in line with the development of the domestic situation is worth trying.
