Cultural Background Issues Chinese And Kazakh Translation

About the cultural background problems in the translation, a lot of books and articles on a more systematic and in-depth studied of this issue. But mainly comparative study between the Chinese and other languages, these Studies also have reference and application value in Chinese and Kazakh translation, while the study of the cultural background of the Chinese and Kazakh of the translation fields started relatively late, needing further researched.Any two of the society’s culture has a certain correspondence which is the basis for the translation, but most of the cultural significance has differences, that bring difficulties for translation practice. Cultural vacancies have been the obstacles and the urgent problems needing to resolve. The cultural corresponding provided practical basis for the communication of different cultures and Translation, while cultural differences and cultural vacancies hinder the smooth progress of the communication and translation. Therefore, the analysis of the differences between different cultures, and then study the impact of these differences on translation is essential to achieve real success.The article based on the principle of translation studies, linguistics and intercultural communication, using descriptive linguistics methods, methods of comparative linguistics, philology research methods and by proper applying graphic methods, analyzing the classification of the cultural background of Chinese and Kazakh translation, differences in cultural background, as well as the impact of these differences on translation to find out appropriate translation strategies. This paper based on the former research to make an effort to the promotion of Chinese and Kazakh translation.The main argument of the thesis:(A) Chinese and Kazakh cultural background classification, cultural differences problems and the impact on the translation, as well as the translation strategies. On the basis of senior scholars researching on the cultural background differences, from the view of linguistic and cultural translation studies, clarified and summarized the differences of Chinese and Kazakhh cultural background and the appropriate translation strategies.(B) According to Skopostheory, generalizing the factors influence the choice of translation strategies. According to the principle of cross-cultural communication and linguistic theory analysis the factors led to the vocabulary vacancy.The main features of the paper as follows:(A) From the linguistic point of view, classifying the Cultural Vacancy Words as well as analysis the translation methods and techniques. Classifying of Cultural Vacancy Words, have oriented role to the translation of cultural vacancy problems. This article draw on the research results of the senior scholars, to try to divide the Cultural Vacancy Words, and introduce of the translation methods and techniques.(B) Selecting of the translation strategy-Domestication and Foreignization. Domestication and Foreignization as two translation strategies, has been one of the controversial topic of the translation industry. In recent years, the domestic translation industry makes a lively discussion on this topic once again, and Domestication or Foreignization strategy should be taken in the translation, scholars have given their different point of view. In this paper, based on the principles of translation studies, and on the choice of translation strategies adopted by the differences in cultural background, analysis of the pros and cons of the two translation strategies, This article by the relevant principles of translation studies, selecting of translation strategies to the Cultural differences, summarized that diversification strategy should be adopted in Domestication based Foreignization supplemented, proper use of other auxiliary translation strategies and methods of strategic options.Study the cultural background of the problem of translation activities in the background of cultural development in order to better grasp its essence and characteristics, cultural background knowledge essential to the practice of translation, the translator should be familiar with both the source language and target language culture; discussing cultural factors in the literary works of a wide range of disciplines is not only feasible but necessary.
