Gorkha (Nepal) border with China’s Tibet, it is closely related to each other in history, and once existed as a vassal state of the Qing Dynasty, the two sides had exchanges frequently involving political, economic, military, religious and other aspects. Due to trade disputes, the two sides fought three wars in Qing Dynasty. Academic write a lot of research before the two wars, but for the third time profile Tibetan war is rare. The third war time was shorter, just over one year. And because of the Qing government’s weakness and signed the first unequal treaty in the history of Tibet, there is no details in the official history. However, this war as another profile Tibetan disputes continuation and the outbreak, as the beginning of the Qing government to change the policy in Tibet since the Opium War, as the tentative of British who used Gurkha to made the purposes of aggression against Tibet, its impacted the relationship between the local and central government, as well as the Gurkhas and Tibet local governments. Since then, the British colonial forces by this treaty began to penetrate the Tibetan local, accelerate the process of invasion of Tibet. Under the guidance of the historical literature of Marxist historical materialism, the paper use historical document as support, make the extensive collection of relevant documents and archives materials. Through various materials, I make a further study on the history of Gurkha who made the third intrusion to Tibet. This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction. By analyzing the third profile Tibetan war in China and abroad, the paper introduces the lack of part on the war and solves problems. The second chapter describes the background Gurkha third intrusion Tibet region. The third chapter describes the process of how Gurkha invaded Tibet. The Chapter four demonstrated the impact of the third intrusion. The impact of this war, including three points, one Tibetan-Nepalese Treaty. After the signing of the treaty, the Tibetan local had a year to pay huge war reparations to the Gurkhas, it made serious damage to the interests of the Tibetan people. Consular jurisdiction, extraterritoriality provisions of the treaty accelerates the intrusion of British to Tibet. Second, Qing government of the Tibetan Policy was affected. After this incident, the Qing government lost morale in Tibet gradually.Third, the impact on the Himalayan region cannot be underestimated. Because of the weak compromise of the Qing government, British colonialism followed by in-depth Himalayan region, and the gradual infiltration of armed and non-armed control of these countries, resulting in a siege over Tibet and further coveted start in the southwestern border and even the Mainland.
