| Ayn Rand, who was a Russian-born American writer and philosopher, is one of American influential and controversial public intellectuals in modern times. This paper first discusses the social background and theoretical origin of Ayn Rand’s objectivist ethics. Rand’s thought has relationship with rational thought of Aristotle’s theory, Nietzsche humanistic ideas and individualism and equality thought of American freedom.The second chapter discusses Ayn Rand’s objectivism ethics system. Her philosophy of objectivism system discussed Human rationality and the process of recognizing things from field of the perspective of epistemology, which is simply summed up in that the objective reality is absolute reality according to which people can judge truth or false. Besides, there is an argument that people should pursue rational self-interest and rational value in order to maintain the rational human life because of the essence of rational life. It seemed to Rand, happiness, the ultimate goal of life, means to realize individual rational value. The ways of specific realization objectivist ethics code of moral, present as the virtues of reason, creativity and self-esteem. In society of public, Ayn Rand in favor of liberal capitalism country, Separating economics and politics of capitalism, but it is worth noting, Rand is not anarchists.
