Franz Schubert was an influential composer in the early 19 th century, and was the first master composer in the 19 th century after Beethoven.Schubert's exploration and excavation of the genre of lied had contributed greatly to the development of music in the 19 th century.Based on Schubert's seven works on the theme of wanderer(including six lieds and one piano work),this thesis explores the creation context, the source of lyrics, the characteristics of music materials, the combination of music and literary poetry, the layout of music structure, and the shaping methods of tramp image, then considers the composer's preference for the theme of wanderer and the relationship between the aesthetic trend of music and the self-expression of composers, and the influence of the creation techniques and artistic concepts of these works on the concepts of composers in the later stage of romanticism. The thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter mainly starts from the image source of the image of “wanderer”,and then discusses the wandering mood of the composer in combination with the wanderer prototype of the 19 th century. The second chapter is the construction of the lyrics text and the theme image of lied.Through the excavation of the background of poetry creation and the analysis of the theme materials of the songs, the common characteristics of the series of works of composer wanderers are interpreted. The third chapter explores the unity between the theme materials and characteristic sounds of the seven Wanderer works and the image of “Wanderer”.The fourth chapter interprets the music structure and textual connotation of “Wanderer” series of works through three aspects: emotional construction and wandering image, major color and emotional contrast, wandering theme and resistance consciousness. The fifth chapter reflects the aesthetic pursuit of strong self-expression in the 19 th century, and the influence of Schubert on later composers through works in the romantic late literary and artistic fields.
