Thoughts On The Present Corporate Moral Responsibility

Since the reform and opening up, China has undergone tremendous changes invarious fields,the economy has boomed, people’s living standards have been greatlyimproved. However,it seems that the quality of people’s moral has not improved as theeconomy development,on the contrary,there is a downward trend.The corporate moralresponsibility faces a deep crisis, especially,the cases of moral hazard alarm us inrecent years, such as production security events, food safety issues, labor disputes,environmental pollution,and so on,frequently appear. The series of corporatemisconduct make people be scared of, will not only damage the the interests ofdifferent stakeholders, but also exacerbate conflicts and contradictions among variousinterest groups and intensify social conflicts.Further more,it will affect thedevelopment of society as a whole, therefore, the problem of corporate moralresponsibility has caused considerable discussion and concern by the whole society.Based on this,the article research on the status of corporate ethics and liabilityin China’s transition period, from the perspective of core stakeholders of the enterpriseas the main line.On research methods,the ethics, economics, management science,sociology, psychology,law and other related knowledge has been tried tointegrated.The article attempts to analyze the default behavior of business in reality,and sketch out the root cause,on this basis,the path of moral responsibilityconstruction is proposed.This article is mainly divided into four parts, the first part is an introduction partintroduces the background and significance of this study,research review at home andabroad as well as the idea and research program and Papers may be innovative andinadequacies;the second part analyzes the concept of business and businessstakeholders from the start, considers the shareholder, manager and the employees asthe core shareholders of the enterprise, further draws the relationship between thedevelopment and the moral of enterprises. And corporate ethics analysis anddefinition of the moral responsibilities of corporate are made; the third part analyzes the status and reasons of corporate moral responsibility default; in the fourthpart,some suggestions is brought up according to the causes above.
