Feature Of Wang Zhongshan Koto Art

Wang Zhongshan is a well-known contemporary Chinese Guzheng player,educator and a productive composer, who has made remarkable contribution to thedevelopment of contemporary Guzheng music. His works are of various and creativestyles. He has also bold creativities into expand techniques, styles and art expressionof Guzheng music.This article analyzed3songs of unique styles and techniques, namelyMingshan Mountain, Gloomy Fragrance, and Song of Memory, that represents3different mentalities of WANG Zhongshan’s work. The author aimed at analyzing therelations of Mr. Wang’s aesthetic pursuit, performance techniques, and thecharacteristics of his works through interviewing Mr. Wa ng in person many times,researching on his works’ leading role of the composition of contemporary Guzhengmusic, so as to help Guzheng performer to improve their performing skills andappreciation in regard of contemporary Guzheng music.
