In1997, he was named the first national " Excellent in both performing skills and moral integrity" artists. His song "bridge"(2001),"Bridge, Home and Hope"(2002),"I love the land"(2003) won the "Golden Bell award" in the first, the second, and the third Session of Chinese music respectively.Lu Zaiyi is known as "music poet", whose themes mostly praise of the motherland, the hometown, and the life. His song writing uses the western composition techniques, absorbing the national music essence, has a lot of development and innovation, whether in writing or in the form of structure.This thesis analyzes from Lu Zaiyi’s art song style characteristic, comprehend and grasp thoroughly and detailedly, in order to show its style in singing and teaching, presenting its unique "charm". Through the research in his art songs, we improve our understanding of Chinese art songs of the whole, so that improve our "Virtue" and "Art" accomplishment.
