This paper mainly discuss the formation and development of the Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance. Moreover, from the aesthetic angle, the Henan opera has been innovating with the Chinese classical dance characteristics. The author illustrates two interrelated and influence each other in order to promote the sound development of two performing arts. The paper reveal the historical value, cultural value and aesthetic characteristics about Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance. Based on the theory research of Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance, the author hope this paper can provide some help to their development, making Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance could develop to the direction of diversification and deeply in art creation and art aesthetics.In first chapter, the author explains the reason and the significance of the topics of this article and outlines the study about this research. Meanwhile, the author describes the research methods, ideas and innovations. After the founding of PRC, academic scholars pay much attention to Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance.obtaining a certain amount of research results. But most studies only stay in their own respective areas. This paper departure from Henan Opera and classical Chinese dance, looking for two types of performing arts in order to learn from each other. The author wants to promote the good development of Henan Opera and classical Chinese dance from a theoretical directionThe second is opera and dance. Nowadays, the Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance are belong to the two areas. This chapter is a brief account of opera and dance, which leads to Henan Opera and classical Chinese dance.The third part is the review of the Henan Opera. This chapter starts from the origin of the Opera and outline the Opera’s development from the Qing Dynasty to the present. The author describes the opera genre, line of business, band, musical instrument and the classical repertoire. The author focus on combing relationship between the Henan opera and Kunqu opera.The forth part is the creation of Chinese classical dance. This chapter describes the concept of Chinese classical dance, the establishment and development of the discipline of Chinese classical dance and the origin of classical Chinese dance disciplines.The fifth part is the Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance. This chapter is the most important part. From the aesthetic point of view, the author analyzes the aesthetic characteristics between Henan opera and classical Chinese. The article sort out references and influences between the Henan Opera and Chinese classical dance. The author tries to make recommendations to the farther and higher-level development from the theoretical aspects of opera and Chinese classical dance.
