Analysis Of The Reasons For The Tendency Of Contemporary Literature Kitsch

Since the reform and opening up,China’s culture is undergoing extensive and profound changes.Cultural construction continuously made new achievements,there is a considerable number of literary works each year.But in general,the influential excellent works is not enough.Due to the development of market economy,consumer society has come,the aesthetic property that literature as a special spiritual products has been forgotten by the writer.Pursuit of economic interests has been the main or even sole purpose of some people contemporary Chinese literature has shown a certain degree of kitsch.This can not but arouse our attention and deeply ponder.This article from two aspects that the consumer society and the public aesthetic psychology to analyze the causes of contemporary Chinese literary kitsch,to seek the way of reconstruct the healthy literature ecology through the analysis of the causes.This article is divided into five parts.Introduction:sum up the domestic and foreign scholars on the discussion of the critical analysis of literary kitsch,briefly elucidate the significance of the topic selection and the main contents of this article.Chapter I:The Definition And Performance Of Literary Kitsch.This chapter points the difference between kitsch and popular. Literary kitsch is an art form that cater to the vulgar psychology of the audience and secular society,due to secular needs and pursuit of economic interests.The contemporary literary kitsch has shown a variety of forms,the proliferation of sexual description,joking history,tampering with classic,entertainment of war theme works and so on.Chapter Ⅱ:Literary Kitsch And Consumer Society.This chapter analyzed the reasons of the contemporary literary kitsch from the perspective of the consumer society.In the backdrop of the consumer society, people not only consume material products, but also consume spiritual and cultural products. Pursuit of economic interests as the main purpose and the pinch of writers’responsibility are important reasons of the contemporary literary kitsch in consumer society.Chapter Ⅲ:Literary Kitsch And The Public Aesthetic Psychology.This chapter analyzed the causes of the literary kitsch from the perspective of the public aesthetic psychology.Social and economic restructuring have led the aesthetic psychology of the readers changed. The aesthetic psychology of the public tend to catharsis, peep,novelty.This inevitably led to the contemporary literary kitsch.Epilogue:Reflect on contemporary literary kitsch, writers, readers, publishers, modern media and the whole society should make joint efforts to build a healthy literature ecology.
