In modern Chinese,"Jiushi"formed by "Jiu"and "Shi" be a less solidified predicate phrase, acting as a predicate or predicate center,be an ad verb,playing a role of decoration which is used for table scope,stressed,or tone,also be a conjunction,functioning as correlation.The conjunction "Jiiishi" can appear in the preceding clause which it connected, expressing concessions relations,also appear in the last clause,expressing the relationships of concessions transition and explanation,etc.From the view of pragmatic,the conjunction "Jiushi functions as connection, mark and evaluation,meanwhile,it can connect body words,predicate words or clauses,marking the different logical semantic relations between clauses and expressing the speakers’ subjective evaluation,emotion and attitude.There are different voices in the academic circle about the basic meanings of conjunction "Jiushi",but the functions as transition,concession and selection are recognized by everyone.As conjunctions expressing selection,"Jiushi""Huozhe" and "Haishi" enjoy similarities as well as differences.when expressing selection,rather than be used alone,"Jiushi" should be connected to "Biish" and form the "Biishi......Jiiushi" to select one from two.When expressing the concessions relations,"Jiushi" usually goes with "ye" to form the "Jiiishi......ye". Components can be purely assumption behind,may also be practical and virtual said.Different from "Jishi","Jiushi" only appears in the preceding clause whice mean assumption.When expressing transition,"Jiushi" belongs to the light to turn,means contrast of characteristics,presents complement of the degree or the role,or reverse of cause and effect.The diversity of "Jiushi" usages often lead to errors when non-native Chinese learners study the word.Through the investigation of HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus,there are three main errors made by learner, incorrectly add,missing and incorrectly replacement. Generation of these errors is related to the complexity of "Jiiishi" usages and meanings,also caused by the interference of other words similar to "Jiiishi".Some foreign language textbooks,such as Developing Chinese and Chinese New World,introduce the basic functions and main usages of "Jiushi",meanwhile set up the relevant special exercises to strengthen the students to learn the grammar point.Combined with "Jiushi" errors and the arrangement of the teaching materials,we should adopt relevant teaching strategies,emphasize the teaching of its main functions,pay attention to the comparison of similarities and differences between "Jiushi" and the related word usages and stress the continuity of this grammar point.
