Starting From Eliasson's Work

Different from the traditional visual aesthetic way, theperceptive involvement brings audience a distinctiveartistic experience with immersion, in which a sense ofpresence is necessary. The participation andinvolvement of audience is the essence and a significantpart of artistic work. Every audience has a differentperspective and understanding of the same artistic work.Many artists have in-depth exploration of perceptiveinvolvement in artistic experience, particularly OlafurEliasson, a Danish artist who specializes in this filedwith his unique perspectives, theories, and masterpieces.This paper states this opinion based onOlafur Eliasson’swork. It can also be found that the perceptiveinvolvement in artistic experience is closely connectedwith the traditional artistic concept in China.
