From of old, it has always been a real problem for every artist to produce works of art on two-dimensional planes, to portray diverse images, to plan reasonable frame and composition, and to materialize time and space into signs and images through craftsmanship. It is the theory of Harmony of Human with Nature that gives strong backing to our cognition of time and space. The theory of Harmony of Human with Nature is the pith and marrow of Chinese culture. Making a thorough inquiry into the materialization of stone relief from the Han Dynasty, this paper aims at finding out how is ancient men's awareness of time and space reflected in pictures, and how did they created the splendid brilliance in line with that remote past in a plain and straight way. The materialization of stone relief from the Han Dynasty reveals the extensive and profound Chinese ancient art and culture.
