Recently, trait emotional intelligence is the new research achievement in emotional intelligence theory and has gradually developed. In our country, the youth peer relationship is a large part of whole student’s career and plays a key role for the youth mental health development and academic achievement. Psychological well-being interprets happiness from the perspectives of self recent development and realization. For high school students in China, we research the status of subjective well-being more, but psychological well-being less. This paper investigates students’ basic situation of trait emotional intelligence, peer relationship and psychological well-being in the key middle school and normal middle school at Tianjin, at the same time, analyzes the relationship among the above three, puts forward the corresponding education policy that make the students get a good partner relationship, what’s more, improve the level of mental health and academic achievement.This research adopts random sampling method that500copies of questionnaires are given students of an ordinary and a key middle school in Tianjin, this paper is analysis seventh and eighth grate students’ current situation of trait emotional intelligence, peer relationship and psychological well-being and the relationship among the above three. Draw the conclusion as follow that:(1) The middle school students’ trait emotional intelligence is in the medium level, the normal middle school is significantly different from the key middle school, grade, gender and whether they are the only do not exist significant differences.(2) The peer relationship of the student in the middle school is in above the average level. There are significant difference in the school and the grade, but there not exist significant difference in gender and whether they are the only.(3) The psychological well-being of the student in the middle school is in above the average level. Students’ psychological well-being in the key middle school are significantly higher than that in the normal middle school. There are no significant difference in grade, gender and whether they are the only.(4) The middle school students’ trait emotional intelligence and peer relationship is significantly negative correlation; Peer relationships and psychological well-being exist significantly negative correlation; Trait emotional intelligence and psychological well-being exist significantly positive correlation.
