Bai Juyi is very important writer in middle tang dynasty, The themes of his poems are diverse, the language of his poems are easy to understand, and the contents are extensive and profound. he enjoyed high prestige at the time of the tang dynasty literary world, and the future generations also praised him as "the poem of magic" and "the poem of bold". he had a significant influence on the development of Chinese ancient poetry. This paper based on the Bai Juyi’s nearly200love poems which have less attention in the study. In the foundation of defining the concept and analyzing research status, It followed the four aspects which is love poems of time and space distribution, the main content,prominent feature and image using.It mined the literary value and emotional connotation of Bai Juyi’s poems.It aimed at knowing the rich emotional word and the and unique literary style. To be specific, this article altogether were divided into six parts:The introduction, Defining the concept of love poems. This article discussed the love poems which were direct expression of the poet of missing relatives and nostalgia, but it did not include indirectly expressing the thought of love poems. On the basis of conceptual clarity, it made a brief summary to all previous dynasties of love poems before Bai Juyi in order to trace grasp, So as to elicit love poems of Bai Juyi’s creation. Analyzing love poems of Bai Juyi were chosen as the research subject of this paper and its research status.The first chapter, The general situation and emotional connotation about Bai Juyi’s love poems.
