German thinkers:Ernst Cassirer is a distinguished cultural anthropologist of the20th century, in his symbolic philosophy, he expanded the critical spirit of Kant philosophy and successfully contributed to the dual transformation of epistemology and methodology---the transformation from rational criticism to cultural criticism, and repatched the limitations of traditional rationalism through functional thinking.This article is based on humanistic perspectives to inspect the symbolic philosophy of Cassirer, according to his work, just as "language and myth"(1925, Germany),"symbol· Myth and Culture"(1979, USA),"man theory"(1945, USA),"humanities logic"(1941, Sweden) and "national myth"(1946, USA) and other documents,this article discuss his profound humanology value from four aspects of a more comprehensive analysis and study.Chapter one, Eternal "Sphinx":the crisis of people’s self-awareness and the appearance background of symbolic philosophy. To highlight the importance of the issue through the analysis of the history of human self-awareness philosophy, and expound the appearance background of humannology of Cassirer symbolic philosophy; The second chapter, from "know yourself" to "be yourself":the symbol ontological logic of people’s self-identity confirmation, focusing on answers of the self-identity question "how to become a man?" The paper continues Cassirer symbolic philosophy, from language, art, history and science four dimensions to elucidate the transition logic from "natural" to "intellectuals", and call the man "mature man" who has the cultural consciousness. Chapter three, regression of humanity "real":the history and and cultural mission of Cassire symbolic philosophy. By reveal the nature of cultural ethics and the nature of human freedom and other human science to show this cultural mission; Chapter four, symbol alienation and the limitations of human freedom-the modern perspective of Cassire’s symbolic people study. By examining Cassirer’s myth critique philosophy of talitarian political to highlight the social criticism significance of symbolic philosophy, and review the symbolic practice which is cultural creation through relating to Marxist theory of people. This article also reveal the the reality of symbol alienation which based on Baudrillard’s symbol alienation thought who is a postmodern thinker, and in the last,the paper discussed the theory limitations of Cassirer thought.
