The Development Of Local Cultural Context Of Two-dimensional Animation

Two-dimensional animation film is originated from the beginning of last century,and in the middle of last century, it reached a peak in Disney of America. Animationwas introduced to China at the beginning of last century. With the absorbabilityand development, domestic animation also reached the peak in the middle of lastcentury. The domestic animation industry and production keep the trend ofincreasing since it enters the new century, however, the artistic form andinnovation develops very slowly. Based on the creation rules of two-dimensionalanimation, the thesis will study the animation language with Chinesecharacteristics in accordance with the Chinese traditional aesthetics and operaperformance. The thesis will also explore the Chinese traditional stylingfeatures, behaviour characteristics of Chinese nation, performancecharacteristics of traditional opera in accordance with the brief summary ofintegration to the golden rule of animation.The thesis will refer to thecharacteristics of motion, scene setup, story line, role performance, andcharacteristics of behaviour. At the same time, the thesis will also explore boththe development of domestic two-dimensional animation under the currentenvironment and the two-dimensional animation’s development and innovation inthe future.
