With the development of the era, traditional ways of life and of thinking was impact by theadvanced ideological trend from the west world, and the east and the west culture collides andmerges.The process causes the change of traditional Chinese painting, which forms theintegration with the advantages of modern western painting colour, and rooted in traditionalChinese painting colour, a new kind of style picture in ink and colour painting. The emergenceof ink and colour painting is a new starting point for Chinese traditional painting, is therecognition of traditional painting, is a deep exploration to the west modern colour of light andcolour. Applying for ink and colour painting, although ink painting is important, the most deeplyrooted in the hearts of the people is the full expression of emotion with rich gorgeous colourlanguage which brings people the visual enjoyment. Therefore, colour language is the focus ofthis paper. Its effect of expression in the ink and colour painting is the main meaning of colourlanguage in ink and colour painting.The expressive force of colour language in colours on painting expresss feelings byanalyzing the images of "the structure relationship between colour and colour, such as therelations between hue, purity, lightness, area and position, etc.) and the performance of thecolour language skills and methods (e.g., brushwork, texture, materials, etc.), colour aestheticrules (such as multiple unity, contrast harmonic and rhythmic movements, etc.)" around thecolour of the expressive force of language in all aspects. The fourth chapter is about thecreative fusion between east and west through the analysis of the works of ink and colourpainting colour language, the combination of the traditional Chinese ink painting and heavyvariety, the integration of folk art and the western colour in the use of colours on painting.Colour language in the colours on painting shows the unique artistic charm, letting morepeople want to go to understand and study it, so it’s will be more brilliant in its development andevolution road.
