Chinese Vocal Music Vibrato Of Use And Cultural Aesthetics

The art of Chinese vocal music is the artistic treasure of Chinese traditional art and culture. And it lays a solid foundation for the development of theartistic culture of Chinese modern music. As a special technical form in vocal music,"vibrato" is one of the significant skills that perform the rich emotion, and better illustrate the performance of vocal music. Based on it,the thesis studies on the definition of Chinese-style vibrato, the development of its skills and their distinctive characteristics.From the perspective of combining the theory of vocal music with the practice of singing, it analyzes the function of the vibrato in different performance as well as artistic requirementwhich is necessary in singing. Additionally, it makes a general research on the skills of vibrato in Chinese traditional vocal music and on the cultural aesthetics of Chinese traditional art. To begin with, the thesis explains the notion of vibrato. Then it describes the concept of Chinese traditional vocal music. It analyzes how the vibrato is used by different characters in distinctive situations through the works such as the drum song of Peking” Chou Mo Yin Chu”, Beijing opera”Sha Jiang Bang”, and “The hometown is Beijing” which is adapted on the basis of Chinese opera music. Ultimately, it interprets the origin of aesthetic charm for Chinese vocal musicby the technical analysis of the art of Chinese-style vibrato.This thesis aims at making more people rationally understand Chinese-style vibrato andChinese vocal music， in order to better promote and master the specialskills which exhibits Chinese traditional culture and its cultural connotation.
