The core ideas of Kodaly Music Education thought are the music education forwhole people and inheritance of Hungarian folk music, whose native music teachingthoughts and methods of significant inspiration and reference on the nationalizationdevelopment of Chinese music courses. Although it has been introduced to Chinamusic education as early as1980s, what is mostly referred to be the teaching methodsand means, its educational philosophy has not formed extensive and profoundinfluence. By conducting studies and researches on Kodaly Music Education thoughtsand methods and combining the national songs resources of Hanzhong region, theauthor initiated to recompose several teaching songs as the first try for music coursesnationalization. Studying on Kodaly teaching methods and combined with the somecollected Hanzhong folk songs suited for pupils, the author made use of some Kodalyteaching methods and referred to new course standards as reference, with the purposeof introducing Hanzhong folk songs to the music courses of pupils, contributing to thesurvey and development of textbooks and making overall analysis and exploration onthe great significance of music courses nationalization to provide some practical andtheoretical basis for the music courses nationalization.Firstly, the paper makes a brief overview of the spread and development ofKodaly teaching methods in China, which mainly introduce the main content ofKodaly teaching methods, development, as well as presentation in new class standards;Secondly, it analyzes the feasibility and value of music courses nationalization;Thirdly, it introduces a profile of culture and music of Hanzhong district and presentsthe course practices of developing Hanzhong national song with Kodaly teachingmethods; Last but not in the least, which is also the main study outcomes of the paper,it lists the music experimenal classes of the two preliminary schools and conductsoverall and objective summaries and analysis on the experimental classes.The nationalization of music class is the basis to realize the nationalization of musiceducation. Only by involving folk music to the music classes can students beingdeeply influenced by their native music songs in the long run, consequently, it will truly achieve the nationalization of music education and make better inheritance anddevelopment of our folk music culture.
