Understanding Of Chinese Contemporary Realist Painting

Realistic oil painting is a type of painting which chooses life as its prototype andconcretization as its representative feature, and it is liable to arouse readers’ mentalresonance. As an “imported goods”, the Chinese realistic oil painting has graduallyformed the specific characteristics with the constant integration and learning from theWestern painting techniques. Therefore, having always been in a vivid state ofdevelopment in the last century, the realistic oil painting can be considered as themain manifestation pattern of the Chinese oil painting to some extent. The modernrealistic oil painting plays an important role in upgrading the humanistic value and mental strength of the current world. However, with the rapid development ofeconomy, technology and art, the environment for creating realistic oil painting hasgradually changed, which leads to some new problems and misunderstandingstowards the Chinese realistic oil painting in a new historical era. The paper gives aninvestigation and analysis of the weakpoints and difficult points in the development ofChinese modern realistic oil painting. In addition, the author also raises some specificperspectives and suggestions in order to provide some reference values for the furtherdevelopment of the Chinese modern realistic oil painting.
