Comparison is the basic method of language cognition and research. So thisarticle will make use of Japanese statement adverbs and Chinese modal adverbs as theobject of study and focus on the comparative study, it will make adverbs of twodifferent languages be reasonable and operable comparison to explore the internalcharacteristics about this two kinds of adverbs.After comparing the discovery of a large number of instances, the statementadverbs and modal adverbs have similarities in many ways: The main role is toexpress a subjective attitude and tone of the sentence subject,Semantic function ofweak and strong grammatical function, whichever part of adverbs with switchfunction,Both parts of the adverb in both multiple speech, showing some regularity inthe arrangement of the sentence word order, there are certain requirements in use,which means that the content of a similar tone, can be preset below.There are alsosome differences between the two: depending on Switch to the specific circumstancesof both diversion; although both other parts of speech, but showed the same part ofspeech and completely; different word order in the sentence;statement adverbmodifying threshold greater than modal adverbs; specific requirements are alsodifferent, with the statement made on the back of the adverb form of a fixed staterequirements, and modal adverbs in use is relatively flexible.
