On The Characteristics Of The Development Of APEC Mechanisms And Regional Trade Liberalization

International organization is a part of international system, it not only offersmany kinds of information, but also reduces the transaction cost, and even it canimprove the cooperation between nations. Therefore, it plays an important role in theinternational relation field. Asia Pacific Economy Cooperation (is short for APEC) isa kind of intergovernmental international organization which intends to enhance thetrade liberalization、trade facilitation and the cooperation of economic technology. Atthe beginning of foundation, APEC organization has exhibited the uniqueprinciple-------open regionalism, which is totally different from other internationalorganization. This paper tries to summary the regime’s features of APEC organizationand the achievement of trade liberalization that APEC organization has gotten from1989to now，and then to analyze how the regime’s features of APEC organizationenhance the trade liberalization, in the end of paper, I make prediction to the future ofAPEC organization.My conclusion is that APEC organization has the feature of open、tolerance、equality and flexibility，those features promote the development of trade liberalization.In the future, APEC organization should insist on the principle of open regionalism. Ifthe organization insists on the principle of open regionalism, it will achieve more onthe trade liberalization.
