With the rapid development of modern science and technology, human life is increasinglydigitized, virtualization, exposure to the tide of Technology, we are likely to face the knowledge ofthe passive situation seriously lagging behind and thus can not effectively adapt to the digitalrevolution. Such a problem reflected in the consumer field, especially the field of high-techproducts consumption is even more obvious, most of us may have been reduced to "informationgap" loss of interest.Information gap between profit-making behavior, refers to the IT market as the representativeof the high-tech market producers, intermediaries and, ultimately, distributors, objectiveinformation gap, or man-made, to exaggerate this gap, namely the use of man-made electronic the"technical","professional" with buyers of consumer knowledge "limited","lag" between thetemporal and spatial differences, and seek any improper commercial interests fraud. Seen that thenature of the information gap between profit-making behavior, commercial fraud the bad dealerstake advantage of the buyers and sellers of information resources asymmetric implementation. Itviolates the basic principles of civil law and commercial law, a violation of the basic rights andinterests of consumers, is also suspected violation of advertising law and intellectual property law,and so should be subject to legal regulation.The causes of the gap between profit-making behavior: businesses "commercial profitmaximization" instinct, second, the lack of consumer consumption expertise, including lack ofcomputer expertise and knowledge of the law.The information gap between the illegality of the profit-making behavior is: First, theviolation of the Consumer Protection Law. Not only violated the consumer’s right to know, alsoviolated the consumer’s right to choose. Secondly, in violation of the Advertising Law and UnfairCompetition Law, also a violation of intellectual property laws.Legal Regulation to the "information gap between profit-making behavior, mainly start fromthe two levels, the first level of internal regulation, consumers and operators should enhance thelegal awareness, which not only requires consumers to raise awareness of self-protection,alsorequire the operator to strengthen the sense of integrity management. Second, the level of externalregulation, national law to strengthen market supervision.
