The studies on the south of the Yangtze river in Tang dynasty were attach importance to the academia. The group of officials who were relegate exile to the south of the Yangzi river is a special community.They are such significant power for the development of the south of theYangtze river in Tang dynasty.The article summarized the group of officials who were demoted to the south of the Yangzi river and analysed the data in time and geography.In order to clarify relegated officials’history, chapter two discusses relegated officials’politics of identity and the cause of frustration. Their artistic appreciation and statesmanship are the sally port to find out their real situation. There are four reason why those officials were demoted to the south of the Yangzi river.
