Accompanied mankind enters the21st Century, the development of internet-based computer applications and information exchange network is changing people’s lives. New forms of human activities "virtual society" gradually formed, and co-exist with the real world. Many people that live in the social reality of a substance, also exist in the Internet in the "virtual society". The network is an unprecedented change of human life."Virtual community" has become the extension and expansion of the social reality in the digital age."Virtual society", the identity of each person can be the form of digitized analog, which greatly extends the people to obtain and express information of the range, adds exchange of perspectives and emotional catharsis, and to some extent to get rid of the time and space constraints. Network "virtual society" makes the world smaller, shorter in time, but at the same time there are many problems. Crimes happen in the "virtual society" very often. In China, the public security organ is the main body of the key management of the network "virtual society". They are our mains tasks to grasp the characteristics of the era of the information society, to maintain virtual social fairness and justice, and to protect legitimate interests of the citizens in the "virtual society", activate exploration of effective ways of Internet management, to improve the governance of the network "virtual society", to ensure the healthy and orderly development of the network."Virtual society" is a very important task for China’s public security organs.Author analyzes from the perspective of public security of cyber police, reviews the history of the network "virtual society" at home and abroad, analyzes the development status of the network "virtual society", pointed out the problems and difficulties encountered by China’s public security organs in the management of the "virtual society". The essay points out how to create better intervention and management of "virtual society" and put forward their own views and ideas, to help people understand and comprehensive management of network "virtual society".
