A Research On Trans-department Network Information Resource Management

In the information era, we are all enjoying the convenience of information.Information has become an important resource and information resource management hastherefore become a new management mode. With E-government becoming more and morepopular and the large demand of the sharing of scientific research information, carrying outinter-department information resources management of scientific research institutions,which is beneficial to the integration and sharing of scientific research informationresources, has great meaning to the scientific research institutions, the researchers and thepublic.Using knowledge of public management, combined with domestic and foreign research ofinformation resources management and e-government, this paper analyzes the status ofChina’s information resources management of government website on scientific research.On the basis of my practical experience in the website group project of the ChineseAcademy of Sciences (CAS), I give some suggestions that may help to strengtheninter-departmental information resources management of scientific research in China.This paper firstly clarifies the research background, methods and significance, summarizesrelated concept of scientific research information resources management and the researchsituations home and abroad. Secondly, it introduces the present situation of China’sinformation resources management of government website on scientific research, andsummarizes the commonly coexisting problems. Then it gives a detailed introduction to theexploration work of the CAS website group project in inter-department informationresources management, including the aspect of standards, content construction, technologyusage, operation and maintenance. It also summarizes the construction experience of the project. Finally, from the areas of management system, technical specifications, laws andregulations, personnel training, the paper puts forward some suggestions to strengtheninter-departmental information resources management of scientific research in China.
