With the rapid development of China’s economy and network technology, more and more people begin to use the Internet to communicate with others. Though the great convenience Internet can bring to us, we also have to pay attention to the problem that network brings to us.When using a network our personal information will be inevitably published on the network, but the network easily make privacy exposed to the public. In recent years, our country has undergone some about under the environment of network privacy infringement, network privacy right has been paid more and more attention.Compared with other tort, infringement against a wide, covert means, a larger impact characteristics. Based on our national conditions, it’s important to establish the protection of individual privacy in the network effectively.The thesis is divided into six parts. Introduce the problem from the case, then the theoretical analysis, and then discuss the system at home and abroad, finally unifies our country actual conclusion.Research in China started late in tort law system, research on privacy protection in network environment is more late. On this issue the developed countries has been carrying out research and achieved certain results. The United States and the European Union are two mainly influenced. The United States is taking the industry self-regulation protection mode, while the EU is protected mode based on legal regulation. These two modes have their advantages, but China has its own specific national conditions, therefore find a suitable for China’s system is the right road when learning foreign experience.Privacy protection system under the network environment in China, has made considerable progress, but the development of the network technology fast, the tort of privacy is complex and changeable, therefore, only in the premise of update protection detail, can really create a safe, harmonious network environment.
