The British election has ended on May6,2010, the ruling13years of British Labour Party has been defeated in the election. Shortly after the general election in Britain, the Labour Party is also in the leader election, after beating his elder brother David Miliband, Ed Miliband become the new leader. Where the Labour Party led by E.Miliband will go, which is the focal point of this article focuses on.There are three thoughts mutual contend inside and outside the Labour Party. The first one which this article mainly focuses on is "Blue Labour" thought. This thought has a great influence on the Labour Party, also the theoretical foundation which the Labor Party led by E.Miliband against the Conservative Party. The thought trying to rebuild civil society in the country "neutralize" and market liberalization, recognize the individual rights while previously common, abstract concepts embodied in human experience, refactoring the code of ethics, reconstruction Community life, looking for another "third way" between liberalism and the "New Labour’s third way"; the second thought is represented by the "Purple Book" published by Blairists, they want to find another path to innovate the Labour Party, make the "New Labour" revitalized. They try to advance the autonomy, reshape the social moral, recovery revisionism and de-centralization of the Labour’s tradition; And the third one is D. Cameron’s "big society" theory. He advocated giving the public and local government more powers to enable them to take on more responsibility, to build a "bigger, stronger society", advocating for more power and money into the community and charitable organizations while transform the functions of the government, further improve the efficiency and level of public services.Through analyzing the "Blue Labour" thought and the mutual debate among the three thought, the paper tries to thorough analysis of the theoretical framework of the "Blue Labour" thought, comment to what extent it can affect E.Miliband and the Labour Party. Meanwhile Panoramic display the main British political lineage theory and the theory contend. This paper argues that the British Labour Party has shown a return to the traditional trend. E. Miliband tried to learn from the respective merits of the "Blue Labour" ideas and "Purple Book" in order to stimulate the activity of the party theoretical ideas and integrate their forces, based on these to against with D. Cameron’s "Big Society" movement.
