Villagers’ Understanding And Course Of Behavior On The Environmental Protection

With the rapid process of urbanization, the rural living quality has been greatly improved. But the rural ecological environment problems have become increasingly prominent. Natural conditions become worse, no solution to deal with the living garbage, straw has no place to pile up, the canal can’t be available. All of these promote the consciousness of environmental protection to promate. Because there are differences about the demands of interests between the township government, village government and the villagers. The rural environment protection and construction work have been made very difficult. Current studies on the protection of the environment mainly focus on the general analysis of reasons, purposes and manners, which need detailed researches.Based on China Rural Studies by Central Normal University to conduct fieldwork. ShiQiao Village is the object of study. According the change on the villagers’ understanding of the environmental protection, from no awareness and action, consciousness without action, consciousness with action to consciousness without action. In a realistic way to analysis the reasons about these changes. And I want to make recommendations about how to protect the environment on the public policy.As for why the villagers’understanding of the environmental protection has been changed, three important factors are summarized through relevant interview documents, logical analysis and search of the literature:the public policy’s planning is on the above of the construction, the lack of literacy, and the contradiction between the personal interests and the public interest.
