On Legal Issues Appeal System In Universities For Students

In recent years, the process of the rule of law accelerates further more. Citizens’ legalawareness has been further improved. Among them, a growing number of cases whichcollege students appeal rights caused widespread concern of the whole society. And thedevelopment and improvement of college students on campus to provide a practicalcomplaint mechanisms foundation.Cases involving disputes between universities and students increase every year. On theone hand, it tells the lack of internal management of universities and “legal school” ideas.On the other hand, it highlights the importance of the right to relief on student school lawsand regulations in University Management. And it should be improved as followed: Firstly,the "Education Law" provisions of the student complaints about too macro and principledso that it cannot be directly used to solve real problems of students’ rights. Secondly,although the newly revised "Higher student regulations" established a school studentcomplaint system and the corresponding provisions, the provisions are far from complete.Finally, none of the current college campus has established comprehensive complaintssystem and put them into practice, which cannot be effectively resolve disputes betweenuniversities and students.Therefore, the establishment of a comprehensive school complaints system becomesmuch more important, which is of great significance for safeguarding the legitimate rightsand interests of students. In this paper, we will study that how to improve students’ schoolrun grievance mechanism. Through the study of the existing system, analyzes the legalrelationship between the complaints system, the agency handling complaints and appealssystem, the scope of the complaint, grievance procedures, appeals result and so on.
