The fast development and transition of the society leads to certaindifferent changes of people’s mind, value and life styles, and what’s more,affects college students’, the hope and future of China, physical and mentaldevelopement and formation of healthy personality. Collegestudents’healthy personality not only restricts their own development butalso affects the progress of the whole society. The minds of college studentsare usually very active, so that’s why they are very flexible. College is avital period for the formation of healthy personility. As the society develops,the development of college students’ healthy personility has been paid moreattention in both social and academic areas, and achieved some goodresults. On the way of developing healthy personility, school and familyeducation are regarded as the most important ways, but social education isalways been ignored. This article discussed the development of collegestudents’ healthy personality from the social educatuin point of view.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is Introduction. Itstates the background, some related problems’ research situation, theory meaning and practical meaning of this article.In the second part, it set forcethe concepts of personality, healthy personality, and social education, raisedthe standard of healthy personality and the understanding of socialeducation and college students’social education.In the third part, it analyzedthe personality status of Chinese college students, and analyzed the collegestudents’ personality problems, mainly from the society, therefor pointedout these problems should be remedied through social education. Thefourth part described the impact of social education on college students’development of healthy personality, mainly from the social education’saffect in developing college students’ healthy personality, the importance ofparticipating in developing personality and the rules that should be abidedby.The fifth part said the importance of social education, and discussedsome effective ways of developing college students’s healthy personality,through social practices, fully promoted te shaping and developing ofcollege students’ healthy personality.
