Study On Moral Education’s Function On Shaping College Student’s Healthy Personality

The 18 th Party Congress Report firstly puts forward the idea of taking the moral education as the fundamental task of education. One of the pivotal tasks of college is to shape the healthy personality. From the perspective of Marxism human-theory, the task is aimed to promote the free comprehensive development of students. In recent years, the increasing number of college student’s suicides resulting from college student’s personality inadequacy exposes the lack of moral education in shaping college student’s healthy personality. As an integrated system of educating, training, shaping and guiding people, moral education not only makes influence on college student’s growth, but also plays a vital role in shaping the psychology personality, moral personality, social personality and law personality of college students. Therefore, this paper aims to propose some corresponding measures in order to make the function of moral education in shaping college student’s healthy personality into play.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is an introduction to the background, significance, line and method of the paper and the basic research status of the topic.In the second part, the author explains the conception, essence and target of moral education. Then the author analyzes the connotation of personality and healthy personality from the perspective of law, psychology, sociology and ethic. The author also puts forward the inherent coherence between Marxism human-theory and healthy personality and the relevance between moral education and shaping college student’s healthy personality.In the third part, having analyzed the questionnaire about college student’s personality, the author sums up the status quo and problems of college student’s personality. Then the author analyzes the reasons leading to the status quo of college student’s personality from the perspective of moral education, which is the significant content of the paper.In the fourth part, the author researches the function of moral education in shaping college student’s healthy personality on the basis of analysis before. Then the author proposes some corresponding measures and advice on shaping college student’s healthy personality form the perspective of moral education including psychology health education, ethic education, practical education and law education. This part is the major and core content of the paper.In the fifth part, the author makes summarizes and proposes questions that need to be researched further.
