The Values Education Of College Students From The Perspective Of The Socialist Core Value System

The issue of values is not only an eternal world topic, but also a dynamic problem. Inany country and society, as long as there is life, values exist. Values belong to the field ofideology, which is a reflection of the objective reality in the brain, a leading part of thedeep, relatively stable social cultural system and the spiritual pillar of the people and thecountry. Therefore,"the socialist core value system" which is a historical concept isproposed in2006sixteen session of the six plenary session, on which academia conductedin-depth discussion. But the important theory is the crystallization of the party ’s leadershipwisdom and gradually formed by the several generation of collective leadership whoadhere to the modern theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, who adhere to andcarry forward the spirit of long-term work hard and perseveringly, who inherit the finetraditional culture, which lead the people across the country to a targeted selection ofabsorbing the advanced achievements of countries all over the world.Since the humanity has entered in twenty-first Century, along with the development ofeconomic globalization and accelerating of the modernization process of China, greatchanges have taken place in the whole society. Our country is in the key period of thesocial transformation, complicated miscellaneous social life and cultural level causespeople’s values to show a pluralistic and complicated trend. Values education ofcontemporary college students is facing such a new environment with a new situation, newcontradiction and new problems.College students are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation. In theperspective of the socialist core value system, we should understand and grasp the valuesof contemporary college students correctly, facing the problems of contemporary collegestudents’ values. We should analyze the reason carefully and objectively, according to theMarx’s theory, and explore the Countermeasures of values education of college students actively.
