| The study of adult education function not only has important academic significance for adult education, but their practice is even more significant. In this paper ,study on the basis of the analysis about the specific meaning of adult education, the function of adult education and upgrading of adult vocational ability . Through the historical retrospective of adult education function in upgrading adult vocational ability and it's reality needs, say, the promotion of the vocational capacity is born with adult education, and getting more abundant meaning in the new era. To promote the development of the function further, this paper concludes specific countermeasures for the control and operation of it.The paper consists of four chapters:The first chapter is the concept of research papers related to the determination and deductions. As a starting point for research, this chapter has a comprehensive analysis on adult education, adult education function, vocational ability, put forward the author's opinions and elaborate that upgrading adults' vocational ability is the main orientation of continuous socialization of adults.Chapter II From the perspective of historical retrospective exposition enhancing adults' vocational ability in adult education is a birthright to function. The article , one of the principal arguments, this chapter on the international horizon, According to four historical development stage (bud-establishment-development-lifelong learning period) of adult education to study the function of adult education in upgrading professional ability, discusses respectively that adult education originated from the requirement to upgrade vocational ability of the working class; its institutionalization began with standardization and legitimating of vocational education; its stead development promotes the formation of the education system of adults' vocational ability. Lifelong education promotes the upgrading of vocational ability to develop in depth. Then based on adult education practice since the founding of China, discussion that our adult education circle advocates and attaches great importance to the upgrading of adult vocational ability is taken.In Chapter III, the upgrading of vocational ability is one important function in adult education discussed from the perspective of social realities demand. As the article's second main argument, this chapter sets foot on the two basic points understanding phenomena of education—the society and individuals to make a discussion respectively. Requirement of the society includes that of building a harmonious society and developing involves that of adult group and the single person.Chapter IV is the part of proposed strategy. Taking the reality of our country into consideration, it proposed the control and operation countermeasures about the enhancement of vocational capacity in adult education. |
