With the rapid development of economy, people’s life more and more wealthy, living conditions are getting better and better. China is stepping into the aging society, the elderly population is growing stronger, the elderly due to physical fitness and functional status decline, physical damage probability increases, health has become a very important problem. As the years passed, the elderly physical function degradation, especially in strength with older people life be closely bound up the index, and the youth period is more cannot be mentioned in the same breath.60-69years this stage is just the elderly transitional stage, the stage of the elderly, the physical indicators are slow down, if at this stage for human intervention, slowing the elderly strength quality index downward trend, on the future of elderly people live will have an important role in.In this paper, through the literature material law, determination of physical law, expert interview law, mathematical statistics, logic analysis on60-69years older in lower extremity strength quality index measurement, screening, develop a for60~69years older in lower extremity strength quality evaluation index system, this system establishment for the better monitoring the age older strength quality and health level provides a simple, objective detection and evaluation method, so on60~69physical exercise of older persons to provide a correct guidance.The conclusion of this paper is through the elderly lower limb strength training can effectively prevent the age growth causes decreased muscle mass, decreased bone density, slow down the new supersedes the old. Elderly patients with lower limb strength training can reduce back pain and arthritis discomfort, attenuates diabetes-related symptoms. Elderly long term strength training can effectively reduce cholesterol, lower blood pressure, reduce the incidence of coronary artery disease risk, so that older people’s balance ability, motor ability increases somewhat, reduce the damage by the fall, make old people keep vitality, have confidence in the ability of participating in aerobic exercise and other outdoor sports activities. At the same time, for the older the better spent his later years, provide great help.
