With the2004Athens Olympic Games, wrestling contest rules have changed greatly, the International Wrestling Association wrestling match in order to increase ornamental, further modified the rules of the contest, by the past every game on the next two games to the three best of two games, but also in the match time and form a great adjustment, so the force, speed and endurance quality of both the special sliding ability raised taller requirement.This paper focus on the wrestling athletes’special sliding ability to conduct the research, the main contents are as follows:1、 wrestlers sliding state in the initial evaluation, selection of indicators by screening the primaries, check index on wrestling players upper push-pull capability evaluation.2、 functional training to use wrestlers upper push-pull training, divided into different stages of training, and the training implementation.3、 The Analysis of the functional training of wrestling athletes upper push-pull capability, as the next step to take reasonable, scientific training method has laid a theoretical foundation.Research purposes:in classical wrestling athletes in Shandong province of upper sliding ability training of the existing research on the basis of the analysis, through the use of empirical research, testing and expert interviews and other methods, pointed out Shandong province Greco-Roman wrestling athletes in special sliding ability training the basic present situation and bottleneck. Coaches should improve the functional training of the understanding, strengthen the training, to improve the athletes’performance.Recommendations:(1) through expert interviews and questionnaire investigation shows, most of the Shandong wrestling coaches on the functional training of the concept of many obscure, the training methods and means do not understand. So the coach should strengthen the functional training of the awareness, and strengthen the functional training and special combination of better.(2) in order to further improve the functional training theory, to study further tracking, functional training for athletes to evaluate the effect, according to the feedback results timely adjustment of functional training of the training methods.
