Research purpose: The purpose of this paper is to explore the effects of different upper limb movement rates on the latency and amplitude of P300 and MMN in ERP.Research Methods: 36 college students(18 boys and 18 girls, average age 21.27 ± 2.16 years)from Dalian University of Technology were selected. All the subjects were right-handed and had no neurological or psychological diseases. In this study,9 groups of experiments were needed. The speed of target directed movement was 8,12,16,20,24,32,40,48,80 cm / s.The duration of each group is 1 minute, the number of round trips is 100.During the exercise,BP-32 EEG instrument was used to collect EEG,and the data of each group will be compared and analyzed.Research results:(1)In the analysis of one-way ANOVA,we found that the change of upper limb movement speed had significant effect on P300 latency and amplitude(P<0.05),but had no significant effect on MMN latency(P > 0.05).When the velocity is 8 cm/s,the minimum value of P300 total average latency is 324.908±12.629(ms),the maximum value of P300 total average amplitude is 27.006 ± 2.493(ms),the minimum value of MMN total average amplitude is 3.316±1.152(ms);when the velocity is 80 cm / s,the maximum value of P300 total average latency is 411.441±15.700(ms),the minimum value of P300 total average amplitude is 17.010±2.316(ms),and the minimum value of MMN amplitude is 17.010±2.316(ms)The maximum value is 8.232±1.183(ms).(2)After analyzing different ERP components separately,it is found that different action rates not only affect P300 and MMN,but also have linear changes with the change of movement rate. The results show that the latency of P300 increases linearly with the increase of velocity(|r|>r0.025),while the amplitude decreases linearly(|r|>r0.025);the amplitude of MMN increases linearly with the increase of velocity, but not significantly(|r|< r0.025).Therefore,when the velocity range is 8 cm/s~48 cm/s,the amplitude of MMN increases linearly with the increase of velocity(|r|>r0.025).When the velocity range is 48 cm/s~80 cm s,the amplitude of MMN does not change greatly with the increase of velocity. It can be inferred that there is a certain velocity V in 48 cm/s~80 cm/s.before the velocity v,the change of velocity has a significant effect on the amplitude change of MMN.After the velocity v,the effect of velocity change on the amplitude change of MMN decreases.Research conclusion: Through this experiment,we found that the influence of velocity on P300 latency and amplitude is linear correlation, the influence on MMN amplitude is linear correlation at 8 cm/s~48 cm/s,there is no significant influence at 48 cm/s~80 cm/s,and there is no correlation effect on MMN latency. In addition, according to the trend of MMN amplitude change,it can be preliminarily inferred that there is a turning point between 48 cm/s and 80 cm/s.This speed may be the critical value of fast action and slow action, but whether there is such a critical value and the specific value of the critical value need to be further studied later.
