Solid geometry is an important content of high school mathematics.Mathematical curriculum standard focuses on highlighting the students’principal status, promotes their initiative and enterprising approach to learning, and improves their mathematical thinking ability. In this context, solid geography as a carrier of training students’ability of reading charts, drawing, space imagination, logical reasoning as well as learning inductive thought, plays a crucial part. Therefore, much more attention has been paid to this part, that is, whether the teachers teach the students solid geography reasonably in class.George Polya has a profound achievement in the field of mathematics. It has a very crucial guiding significance to our education. Based on Polya’s thought of mathematics education,this study combines the t heory with the practice,adopting the literature research method and the intervi ew method,to sum up Polya’s solution methods and the teaching idea starting f rom solid geometry teaching in senior high school and the students’problem-s olving perspective.It can regulate students’ problem-solving habits. We can m ake use of Polya’s plausible reasoning to design new teaching mode,so as to c hange the teaching way and apply the mathematical education idea of Polya to the solid geometry in senior high school.The paper can be divided into five parts. They are given brief introduction as follows.Chapter one:Introduction. It mainly explains the purpose,significance of the study, research review at home and abroad, research methods as well as the innovation of the thesis.Chapter two:Polya’s mathematical educational thought. It mainly includes a brief introduction of Polya’s life, how to solve the table,plausible reasoning,teach principles and education theory on the teachers’admonished.Chapter three:Survey and research.It aims to research the teachers’ teaching situation in the real teaching process of solid geography from the perspective of both students and teachers, including the use of teaching methods and thoughts, and finally lay a foundation for the scientific and reasonable teaching suggestions and methods for solid geography teaching.Chapter four:The case analysis and teaching experiments.According to the previous analysis of the theory and present situation investigation as well as the suggestions put forward, the teaching cases in class and recitation teaching cases have been designed and experiments have been made, which shows according to the new teaching modes and Polys’s problem-solving modes, the students’initiative of learning maths has been improved, and the effect of listening to the lectures has also been perfected, and finally the learning efficiency has been enhanced.Chapter five:Conclusion with discuss. It mainly researches conclusion, reflections and enlightenment and for reference Polya’s thought reasonably.
