A Study On The Application Of Course Embedded Assessment In Information Technology Teaching

Education evaluation is a major part of education and teaching, effective education evaluation can stimulate the interest of learners improve teaching promote learning and help students develop their ability. Most current assessment of education services teachers, this study put forward the opinion that the assessment should serve the students and help the students develop their competence.This research covers the background the significance and the current progress of course embedded assessment. This study introduces the student assessment and applies embedded assessment. I have made researches on new assessment strategies and evaluation principles to evaluate the students truly to promote the development of students and information technology curriculum reform.This study proposes the information technology program is offered in primary and middle schools to improve student information literacy and the information capacity including the knowledge and skills, processes and methods, attitudes and values. Assessment is embedded into the teaching and learning throughout the teaching and learning process, tracking students throughout the study period in the development and learning.I try to apply the course embedded assessment in "information technology" and build a reasonable assessment objectives combined with teaching objectives, (knowledge, behavior, practical ability, work ability, communication skills, etc.). With the establishment of evaluation points, the teaching content has been reconstructed.Course embedded assessment can promote the progress of learning, help teachers to monitor the effectiveness of teaching and the teaching process. It can guide teachers to maintain or re-adjust the course content or program, but also help students understand their learning situation, guide the students to study further. Course embedded assessment can improve student learning motivation and promote student learning. Practice shows that the course embedded assessment is effective and enhances students'information literacy. The assessment is embedded in the entire learning process. It provides three-dimensional and timely evaluation of learning, promoting, regulating and encouraging the learning process.
