| Patriotism education is always the core content and eternal topic of the ideological and political education, the era of change brings huge impact to the people’s thoughts, and increases the urgency of patriotism education. Especially in the sino-foreign cooperation school-running mode, due to the particularity of running and the uniqueness of education subject, students’ traditional value and patriotism have been challenged, the western values have caused a certain degree of influence on students’ world outlook, outlook on life and the values. In this case, we must redouble our attention and strengthen the patriotism education of college students, adhere to the correct value guidance.This thesis takes college students’ patriotism education as the basis, discusses the significance of patriotism education in the sino-foreign cooperation university, as well as the new ways and the new methods of patriotism education. This thesis takes Yanbian University of Science and Technology as the research object, analyses and summarizes the status of the sino-foreign cooperation schools, discusses the problems existing in the present and the causes of the problems, put forward the principles, contents, ways and means must be adhered to in patriotism education. This can not only enhance the Yanbian area college students’ sense of belonging and identity for the country, but also has certain reference significance to college students’ patriotism education in other similar regions.
