Study Of Competition Rounds Features Of Yachting Based On Target Ranking

As a water sport requiring high intelligence,Yachting has very unique contest rules which usually takes as long as dozens of rounds to decide the winner.There are several aspects that determines the victory of such a contest,including the level of training,and more importantly, the grasp of contest round characteristics of Yachting.Therefore, making scientific and reasonable target result before a contest in accordance to contest round features is especially essential. This paper provides foundations for coaches and sportsmen to make reasonable pre-contest plans and take control of the contest during the game through making statistic analysis based on collected abundant international competition results and finding out the basic characteristics and change rules of Yachting round results.The research used relevant methods such as document literature, statistical analysis and export interviews as main research methods practically centers on enhancing coaches’and sportsmen’s understanding of Yachting contest round rules, and takes the SS international competition round result characteristics in the recent years as object of study in order to analyze pre-contest round target result setting’s influence on improving China’s Yachting athletes’s understanding of in-contest round change rules. Taking advantage of sport statistics, theories of sport training and other relevant knowledge, this paper discusses how China’s sportsmen should make scientific pre-contest target round when attending international competitions.The main work carried out in this thesis includes five parts.According to the foul statistics of each segment in four levels of competition, our men and women windsurfing players are less likely to foul in the international contest. The sailors of Laser Radial Class and Women’s470Class prone to foul phenomenon occurred mainly in the first stage and the third stage in international competitions in our country.Laser Radial:The target score:first, in the first stage of the competition,the average round distribution should be fluctuating between2to7; in The second phase:1to5; in The third phase:2to8; The standard deviation of the mean of the segmented round score should fluctuate between1.05to3.78. Theoretically speaking, athletes would be able to win the championship if he can control the results of each segment in the above statistical scope.RS:X Women:The target score:first, in the first stage of the competition,the average round distribution should be fluctuating between1to3; in The second phase:1to5; in The third phase:2to6. The standard deviation of the mean of the segmented round score should fluctuate between1.06to3.34. Theoretically speaking, athletes would be able to win the championship if he can control the results of each segment in the above statistical scope.RS:X Men:The target score:bursting into the top six. Theoretically speaking, in the first stage of the competition,the average round distribution should be fluctuating between3to6; in The second phase:4to6; in The third phase:4to9. The standard deviation of the mean of the segmented round score should fluctuate between2.14to5.48.470Women:The target score:bursting into the top ten. Theoretically speaking, in the first stage of the competition,the average round distribution should be fluctuating between5to10; in The second phase:6to9; in The third phase:7to11. The standard deviation of the mean of the segmented round score should fluctuate between3.77to6.34.Judging from the overall statistics of worldwide competition round results and final results in the recent years, there are is a fixed changing range of good contest results. As well as the results of each round is within this range, the sportsmen are basically able to achieve set target results. This paper provides reference for the improvement of China’s SS technique and tactic level on the whole by means of researching round results, finding out the round characteristics of each level contests, as well as making particular pre-contest arrangement and target round result using the found information.
