The Research On Construction And Development Of University Culture Of Local Agricultural Colleges

University culture is a characteristic of universities visiting card, it is representingthe school whole image, showing the unique charm of the colleges. The broad sense ofuniversity culture refers to the long-term educational practice of university, also it refersto the accumulation, the external influence generated by a combination of material andspirit’s overall achievements, and in the meantime this is the heritage and service, strivingfor the code of conduct, ethics and values where teachers and students agree.University culture contains inheritance, innovation, objectivity, comprehensive,critical and open characteristics, also it possess guidance, shaping, condensation,specification and radiation, and other functions. In addition, the university cultureincludes four parts: spiritual culture, behavior culture, system culture, material culture.The university culture between the local agricultural colleges and other types ofcolleges is different; it is more focused on provide service for agricultural development.Meanwhile, the cultural construction of local agricultural colleges is relatively weak, sothere is a strong need to point out that the local agricultural colleges missions and goalsof university cultural construction requirements first, and then according to the caseanalysis of local agricultural colleges, through the cultural visual angle to review thehistory and development of Jiangxi agricultural university, at the same time, go deeplyinto its unique historical heritage and characteristics by interviewing some teachers andstudents in this university, then put forward some problems existing in the developmentprocess of agricultural colleges. At last, it is essential to combine with the characteristicsof the agricultural colleges, to explore the multidisciplinary integrated development oflocal agricultural colleges’ construction and innovation of university culture.
