| The group cohesiveness, the centripetal force made by teams in dynamic process, plays an important role in shaping and developing groups, communicating among group members and influencing their attitudes towards goals. It also plays a vital part in collective sports and an irreplaceable role in improving overall performances and training efficiency. It has been viewed as one sign of excellent fighting force of sports teams. This essay researches on current group cohesiveness of elite cheerleading teams in National Cheerleading League and National Cheerleading Championship of both2011and2012. From various points of view and different comparisons, it initially reveals the characteristics of group cohesiveness in our cheerleading dance. It points out the mutual relations between cohesiveness and competition results so as to analyze factors influencing group cohesiveness of cheerleading dance. From the preliminary study, this essay makes up gaps of cheerleading dance in the field of psychology, and finds out corresponding countermeasures, which further explore the sustainable development of cheerleading dance and provide some theoretical references and information consulting to some extent. |
